Tony Hart - The School of Motoring

By taking lessons with a Tony Hart Instructor you will have to agree to our Terms and Conditions. These conditions are there to protect both you and your instructor from messing each other around. At the end of your first lesson you will be given a copy of the Terms and Conditions and both you and your instructor will have to sign a declaration stating that you agree to comply by them. The Terms and Conditions are listed below so please take some time to read them.

Lessons

You and your Tony Hart Instructor are responsible for agreeing all matters relating to the timing, location and duration of your individual lessons which shall be recorded on your appointment card. You should be ready for your lessons at the specified time and location with your appointment card and payment if necessary. You should also wear a pair of thin soled shoes suitable for driving and bring spectacles or contact lenses if needed.

CANCELLATIONS

You should understand that losing your appointment card or not having any credit on your phone or not having enough money for your lesson are not valid excuses for late cancellations. You must also ensure that your instructor has up to date contact details if they need to cancel or change a lesson.

Hour Lessons

If you or your instructor wish to cancel or change an hour lesson a minimum of 24 hours prior notice should be given. All cancellations must be made directly between you and your instructor or vice versa. Tony Hart is unable to pass on cancellation information unless you also ask to be allocated to a different instructor. If you do not cancel the lesson then your instructor may charge you a fee.

Double Lessons

If you or your instructor wish to cancel or change a 2 hour lesson a minimum of 48 hours prior notice should be given. All cancellations must be made directly between you and your instructor or vice versa. Tony Hart is unable to pass on cancellation information unless you also ask to be allocated to a different instructor. If you do not cancel the lesson then your instructor may charge you a fee.

Intensive Lessons

If you are taking more than four hour lessons in a seven day period then you must pay for your bookings in advance. If you or your instructor wish to cancel or change any of these lessons a minimum of 96 hours prior notice should be given. All cancellations must be made directly between you and your instructor or vice versa. Tony Hart is unable to pass on cancellation information unless you also ask to be allocated to a different instructor. If you do not cancel the lesson then your instructor may charge you a fee.

Payment

You should bring the correct money to pay for your lesson(s) and pay your instructor at the beginning of your lesson. Any cheques should be made payable to the instructor you are taking the lesson(s) with. Any prepaid lessons should be used within a year of initial payment. The price of any lessons that have not been paid in advance may vary at any time. However two weeks notice should apply if Tony Hart wishes to change it's charges.

Instructors

All Tony Hart Instructors are self-employed on a franchise basis. The contract for tuition is between you and your instructor. If you have any concerns about your instructor then please take these up with your instructor in the first instance. In the case of wanting to change instructor please ring tony Hart.

DRIVING TESTS

You are only ready for your test when your Tony Hart Instructor says you are ready. Remember that at test standard you should be getting it right all of the time without your instructors help. Tony Hart reserves the right to withdraw it's cars for test purposes if the pupil proves not to be at test standard. The pupil cannot hold Tony Hart responsible if the DSA cancel or change your Driving or Theory Test appointment nor if any mechanical failures occur eg light bulbs on the hour before or during your test but will make every effort to arrange a different car or to fix the problem Declaration I have read and understand the above terms and conditions and agree to comply with them and enter into a contract for driving tuition with the instructor. By taking lessons from an Tony Hart Instructor you are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions.
